Before arriving to Novi Sad
make sure that you:
1. have a valid visa for Serbia
2. have communicated to us about the exact date and time of your arrival.

This is very important,because otherwise we will not be able to reserve accommodation for you.
How to get to Novi Sad?
If you are arriving by plane...
You will land at the Belgrade International Airport - Surcin.
Change at least 25$ (20 EUR) at the exchange office at the airport. Don't change money with unauthorized dealers!
Approx. change rate: 1$ = 106 dinars; 1 EUR = 122 dinars.
There are shuttle buses called A1 that leave from the airport to main railway and bus station every 20 minutes. Approximate price of the ride is 300 dinars. Belgrade's railway and bus station are right next to each other.
Buses to Novi Sad leave approx. every half an hour. Trains are less frequent. We recommend you to take the bus. Approximate ticket price is 500 dinars. The ride lasts about 1 hour.
If you are arriving by train or bus...
All international trains run through Novi Sad. Don't take train to Belgrade! Get off in Novi Sad! The main railway and bus stations are next to each other.
When you arrive to Novi Sad
You will arrive at the main railway or bus station. They are right next to each other.
Upon arrival, you should immediately call your "host". Hosts are students from
University of Novi Sad whose job is to take you to the dormitory, show you where
student restaurants are, take you to work on your first working day and show you
around.
If you arrive to Novi Sad and feel lost and have no clue how to find our office, do the following... Buy a SIM card. SIM card costs from 200 to 300 dinars, depending on the mobile network operator. You can buy it at street-newspaper stands. Once you buy your SIM card insert it into your mobile phone and call your host or IAESTE Novi Sad office. Hopefully your problems will be resolved.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Hosts are available every day from 8:00 until 22:00 hours! Try to reach Novi Sad
during this period! If you arrive after 22:00h, you can stay in the hotel for the
night, on your own expense. Hotel "Novi Sad" is just across the street.
